Patient stories are a critical tool in building a community and making change. National Accreta Foundation receives requests by media, researchers and other organizations for patient stories, speakers, and representation. If you’re interested in opportunities to use your placenta accreta, increta or percreta story to improve maternal health, add your story to our bank here.

Get free training to become an effective patient advocate

National Accreta Foundation is proud to be an inaugural member of MoMMA’s Voices, a coalition of maternal health patient advocacy organizations working together to improve United States maternal health.

MoMMA’s Voices has created specialized training for patient and family partners interested in becoming a Certified Patient Family Partner, a Champion for Change. This free training offers courses in:

  • Advocate Readiness

  • Effective Storytelling

  • How to Create a Professional Presence

  • What is Quality Improvement in Maternal Health

  • What are Perinatal Quality Collaboratives (PQCs)

  • What are AIM Patient Safety Bundles

Complete this form to receive access to the training center and begin the certification process to become a Certified Patient Family Partner. The training is free for all community members of National Accreta Foundation.
